Wheel thrown, extruded and assembled.
Inside and top - Clear glaze highlighting the subtle translucency of the porcelain. Lower outer - Copper Red, Blue & Ochre Woodash-Glazes complementing the subtlety of the porcelain with dynamic splashes of color.
All pieces are hand made and fired at high temperature with exposure to the flame to generate dynamic colour responses. The copper red varies from ‘peach blossom’ to ‘dark red’ making each piece unique.
Colour variations occur as they are bespoke pieces.
